Johnson City, Tennessee-based pop-funk band Florencia & the Feeling independently released their crowd-funded debut album Birthday in March 2023, which Vents Magazine hailed as “pure, unadulterated fun.” Since forming in April 2021, the quintet has been lighting up stages across the eastern U.S. with electrifying live shows bursting with joy, groove, and connection. Their infectious energy and genre-bending sound have earned them top honors as winners of both the 2025 FloydFest On-The-Rise Competition and the 2024 MerleFest Band Competition, along with coveted spots at festivals including Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion (TN/VA), Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival (NC), and Rooster Walk (VA).

Reggae Rise Up, Saturday May 16, 2026, featuring Stuck On A Name and Headliner Mighty Joshua. Mighty Joshua delivers high-impact, spiritually charged roots reggae and global rhythms. Stuck On A Name is a six-piece reggae outfit blending roots and modern reggae rhythms with rich horn lines, layered harmonies, and a tight rhythm section.

Hustle Souls, based in Asheville, NC, masterfully blend Retro-Soul, Brass Band Funk, and Singer-Songwriter Americana into a unique and captivating sound. Lauded by American Blues Scene as a "generation-jumping mashup of new school second line funk with old school vintage soul," and described by Bluestown Music as “intimate soul…with a Curtis Mayfield like warmth,” the band has earned a spot as one of Music Connection Magazine’s “Hot 100 Live Unsigned Artists & Bands.”

Skydog, based in Richmond, Virginia, has earned acclaim for its uncanny ability to transport audiences back to the late 1960s and early 1970s with their faithful recreation of the Allman Brothers Band’s iconic sound. Known for their intricate jams, soulful blues, and emotional depth, Skydog embodies the spirit of Southern rock at its finest. Their performances are not just tributes—they’re transformative journeys that capture the essence of one of rock's most legendary bands.

Bluegrass luminary Rebecca Frazier gained notoriety as the first woman to grace the cover of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. In 2018, the Virginia native also became the first woman to earn a Guitar Performer of the Year nomination from the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA), an honor she received again in 2019.
