All are welcome to join us for a good time at Ned Fest! In case you’re wondering where the name came from, this is a surprise birthday festival for Ned Lawless’ 60th trip around the sun! The community is invited to enjoy the artists: Julia Dooley & The Odds, Tin Can Fish Band, and Kooler Heads!

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Please note: Physical tickets are not distributed. Your name will be on our guest list at check-in. Children ages 12 and under are free. Pets are welcome for outdoor shows. Wine, beer, and soft drinks are available at the FIX Bar. Coolers, cups, and outside beverages are not permitted.

Americana covers and originals, featuring such artists as Emmylou Harris, Chris Stapleton, Grateful Dead.” JD and the Odds features Doug Austin on mandolin and fiddle, Joe Conner on accordion, Tom Crosby on bass, John Leedes on guitar and Julia Dooley, lead singer, percussion and harmonica.
TIN CAN FISH BAND__________________________________________________________ Bringing their infectious blend of folk, rock, bluegrass, Americana, and world music to the stage is Tin Can Fish Band! This six-piece group delivers high-energy, genre-blending performances with original tunes and a unique acoustic-electric sound. Tin Can Fish Band started as the duo TinFish in 2006, with acoustic singer songwriter Steve Fisher and long time friend, Colonial Williamsburg tavern musician, and mandolin fiddle maestro, Doug Austin. While primarily performing Steve’s original songs, TCFB draws from a wide variety of folk, rock and roots material ranging from public domain and Bluegrass to Americana and World music, as well as works written and performed by various TCFB members.

Kooler Heads_________________________________________________________________
Kooler Heads, from RVA, formed in 2021 and is comprised of five long-time friends and musical collaborators. The band plays a mix of classic rock deep cuts, GD and roots related covers, interspersed with their own compositions, all peppered with unique vocal harmonies and improv instrumental jams. From small pubs to large festivals, Kooler Heads music is perfect for… havin’ a real good time!
