ANTHONY ROSANO AND THE CONQUEROOS ———————————-
Singer, guitarist, songwriter, and bandleader, Anthony Rosano, has always been drawn to grit, gravitas and the connection that comes from making music. Although his music roots are implanted in the firmament of the blues, he takes his cue from any number of archival influences.
Well recognized and highly respected for his dedication to his specific sound, flush with its drive and determination, he and his band, The Conqueroos — Anthony on guitar and vocals, Kyle McCormick on drums and Jake Fultz on bass — have delighted — and inspired — audiences big and small. Whether on their own or while sharing stages with Bob Seger and his Silver Bullet Band, ZZ Top, Gov’t Mule, Samantha Fish, or Tab Benoit, this powerhouse trio continues to amaze and impress.
MOONSHINE SOCIETY ——————————————————
Since 2009, Jenny Langer & Moonshine Society have created their own brand of award-winning soulful blues, roots rock and old-school R&B- if a fundamental definition is actually required. In truth, they teamed to craft their own formula of music that speaks to the soul and defies the labels of traditional musical confines.
The Society’s founding members sealed their pact one moonlit night in the Anacostia Delta, where then and there, their name became written in the stars. They were to be Moonshine Society. Little did they know on that fateful night that they were buckled in on a launching pad set to rocket them at dizzying speed to performance destinations of their wildest dreams throughout the US and the world. In retrospect, though, it’s little wonder considering the band’s composition of killer talent, which has lead to multiple Wammie awards and the International Blues Challenge (IBC) award for Best Self-Produced Album.
Many followers have come to know frontwoman Jenny Langer from her recent years in The Ron Holloway Band and The Boneshakers.
THE HONEY LARKS ———————————————————-
Meet The Honey Larks. Roots music with fabulous vocal harmonies and uncensored girl chat between tunes.
In 2020, despite the lock down that took away so many live concert experiences, three best friends came together to share their love of blues music. What was intended to be a fun, one-off show turned into a female super-group with immediate fans requesting more performances.
Shows designed to be a safe space for all music lovers, celebrate blues history, and inspire viewers. Featuring Carly Harvey (DC’s Queen of the Blues), Jenny Langer (Blues Hall of Fame), and Holly Montgomery (Blue Elan Records).
JONATHAN SLOANE —————————————————–
