SUMMARY:Buffalo Rose
DESCRIPTION:$20.00 \nBuy now \n\n\n  \nJoin us for Buffalo Rose on Saturday\, March 8th! Doors to our venue and the food truck\, Island Time Delight\, will open at 5:30pm. The show starts are 6:30pm. Arrive early to find your seat\, grab a drink\, and meet someone new! \nAbout the Band:\nBuffalo Rose is a charismatic six-piece modern folk/Americana band from Pittsburgh\, PA. They take the singer-songwriter tradition to a new level by crafting original songs which are emotive\, meticulously arranged\, and inspired by a world of idiosyncratic influences that never let a dull or predictable moment creep in. \nThe band’s most recent release Again\, Again\, Again has brought forth a shimmering and sophisticated sound to their well crafted songs. A follow up to their 2022 EP Rabbit\, a project created in collaboration with Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Tom Paxton\, they released two records last year and show no signs of slowing down. Their 2018 debut album\, The Soil and the Seed\, established them as a vocal\, instrumental\, and creative force. Since then\, Buffalo Rose has dropped two EPs\, 2019’s Big Stampede and 2020’s Borrowed and Blue\, opened for the Wood Brothers\, Mipso\, Pokey LaFarge\, Tyler Childers\, Infamous Stringdusters\, and shared a festival stage with the legendary Sam Bush. \nBuffalo Rose’s lineup of Lucy Clabby (vocals)\, Margot Jezerc (vocals)\, Bryce Rabideau (mandolin)\, Malcolm Inglis (dobro)\, Jason Rafalak (upright bass)\, and Shane McLaughlin (guitar\, vocals) pushes itself and each other far beyond their perceived limits and blends their diverse and atypical approach to songwriting with the desire to see how unique a song can get and still feel like home. They use powerful vocal harmonies\, strong playing\, and an original vision to operate at every possible emotional level and put on dynamic live shows that are unforgettable experiences. They go from up and moving to sad and sweet and back again\, bringing the entire audience along. \nThis combination of artistry and enthusiasm makes Buffalo Rose one of the most vital and important groups working today. Rather than play the folk music of the past\, the band gleefully combines genres and ideas together to move acoustic music forward to a new\, contemporary place without ever losing sight of its roots. Fans of Lake Street Dive\, Nickel Creek\, and Punch Brothers will find much to like in this crew. Anyone seeking compelling new acoustic music needs to join Buffalo Rose in the future right now. \n \n  \n\n\n$20.00 \nBuy now \n\n\n

SUMMARY:St. Patrick's Day with Poisoned Dwarf
DESCRIPTION:$20.00 \nBuy now \n\n\n  \nHappy St. Patrick’s Day! The show with Poisoned Dwarf is indoors starting at 7pm. Arrive as early as 6pm to explore a special menu presented by Gumbeau’s. Seating is first come\, first serve. \nPoisoned Dwarf is a Celtic music group that plays virtuosic\, innovative and passionate renditions of traditional Irish and Scottish music on acoustic instruments. Thomas DeRose\, Mei-Li Garcia\, Wayne Hill\, Lance Pedigo\, and Patrick Rooney are five talented musicians who create a driving sonic energy that has been captivating audiences for over a decade with whistles\, flutes\, violin\, guitar\, percussion\, and Uilleann pipes together with exciting and lyrical vocals. They perform at a wide variety of musical venues from highland festivals to theaters\, from churches to sophisticated listening venues throughout the East Coast\, to the occasional pub just for fun. \nSo what is a Poisoned Dwarf? Well\, it depends on whom you ask: Musicians say it’s the name of a famous bagpipe tune; Disappointed competitors say it’s what you call an unfriendly judge; Historians enjoy telling the story of the nickname the citizens of Midden\, Germany gave the quarrelsome “Scottish Rifles” battalion posted in in their town after World War II; Others say\, it’s just a clever term for cranky Scotsman. We like to think it’s a fun term for a rollicking\, fast-paced\, friendly group of musicians who love to play traditional Celtic music with a twist. \n  \n\n\n$20.00 \nBuy now \n\n\n
