The duo\, known for their individual successes\, mutual admiration\, and deep friendship\, have finally come together to create a musical project that transcends genres. \nLuther Dickinson\, one half of the 5-time Grammy-nominated North Mississippi All Stars and former Black Crowes lead guitarist has extensive production and session credits for artists like John Hiatt\, Cedric Burnside\, and William Bell. \nJD Simo\, the leader of his own solo project\, boasts session and production credits for Jack White\, Beyoncé\, Chris Isaak\, Stevie Nicks\, Phil Lesh\, and Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis movie. \nUnited by shared loves and a strong friendship\, Luther and JD found themselves collaborating in the winter of 2022. The doors open at 5:30pm with the show starting at 6:30pm.  \nAbout the Band:\nLast Fair Deal is a seven piece Grateful Dead tribute band based in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Performing at least two full sets of Grateful Dead every show\, we strive to recreate the experience of a Grateful Dead concert. Though the Dead went through a number of personnel changes in 3 decades\, being a true “Tribute” act\, we emulate the 70’s – early 80’s lineup most closely. Each member represents the corresponding member of the Grateful Dead.  \nCurrent Members:\nDavid Perkins as Mickey – drums\, percussion\nKyle Folsom as Jerry – guitar\, voc\nJames Dale as Billy – drums\, percussion\nPatrick Higgins as Bobby – guitar\, voc\nSherri Linn as Donna/Pigpen/Brent – voc\, mandolin\nRob Lord as Phil – bass\, voc\nTim Dunkum as Keith and more – piano\, organ\, keyboards        \nThe band writes set lists using the complete Grateful Dead collection of originals and covers played from ’65-’95.
