Show starts at 6:30pm. \nAbout the band\nCaleb Dillard\, singer/songwriter from Chesterfield\, Virginia & the lead singer in a new progressive bluegrass jam band\, “Caleb Dillard & The Blue Ridge Hombres” comes to Flat Iron Crossroads Saturday\, August 3rd along with opening artist\, Nick Kump and special guest\, Paige Emily. \nCaleb was the tour opener & upright bass player with Oliver Anthony\, singer & songwriter of “Rich Men North of Richmond” on his most recent tour.\nHe has performed all over the world including but not limited to Sweden\, Scotland\, Norway\, Amsterdam\, London\, Belfast\, Australia & all across the US. Caleb has performed at the iconic Grand Ole Opry alongside Oliver Anthony & Jamey Johnsonas well as The Ryman & The Houston Rodeo which had close to 70\,000 people in attendance. \nHis love for music keeps him writing & singing with a wide variety of musicians. He is currently working on releasing his new single “Son of an Angel” which will be featuring Billy Contreras from bluegrass royalty\, Ricky Skaggs Band. \nBen Lassiter will be accompanying Caleb on Dobro & has his own band called “Lassiter & the Weeds.” Ben is also a core member of Cody Christian & The Congregation band. Taylor Vertrees will be on the upright bass holding down the groove as these 3 take us on a ride you won’t want to miss. \nNick Kump\, a very talented singer & songwriter who plays a wide variety of classic rock\, folk & Appalachian grass music will open things up. We’re proud to be a part of this year’s concert series and to help continue this unique musical tradition in Gloucester\, VA. \nThe show will be opened by Dead Rise from 5:00-6:00pm. Last Fair Deal will perform from 6:30-9:30pm. We anticipate the show being outdoors with vendor\, Rock Chakra and food truck\, Get Cheesy. Doors open at 4:00pm – bring a lawn chair\, blanket\, and grab a drink at the FIX’ Bar inside. \nAbout the Band:\nLast Fair Deal is a seven piece Grateful Dead tribute band based in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Performing at least two full sets of Grateful Dead every show\, we strive to recreate the experience of a Grateful Dead concert. Though the Dead went through a number of personnel changes in 3 decades\, being a true “Tribute” act\, we emulate the 70’s – early 80’s lineup most closely. Each member represents the corresponding member of the Grateful Dead. The band writes set lists using the complete Grateful Dead collection of originals and covers played from ’65-’95. With the proper measure of lush harmonies and heady jams when called for\, the band has become a favorite of the Hampton Roads music scene among Deadheads and general audiences alike. Regularly performing for audiences from 400 to 2\,000 plus\, LFD is becoming a premier Mid-Atlantic/East Coast touring act.
