SUMMARY:Fireside Collective
DESCRIPTION:$25/$30\nBuy now\n\nInspired by the burgeoning art scene\, close knit community\, and natural beauty of Asheville\, North Carolina\, newgrass turned eclectic jam band Fireside Collective has spent a decade working towards this very pinnacle.  Original band members Joe Cicero\, guitar\, Jesse Iaquinto\, mandolin\, Tommy Maher\, resonator guitar\, and Carson White\, bass\, began playing together in 2014 when Iaquinto gathered the group of bluegrass enthusiasts to back up some of his original songwriting.  \nWhen they began touring again after covid\, Fireside drew inspiration from jambands like The Grateful Dead\,  the group’s agreed upon North Star.  There was significantly more improvisation\, changing setlists from night to night\, and longer musical movements.  With the introduction of Michael Tillis on drums in late 2023\, the sound expanded to include heavy funk elements as well as classic rock and even ventured into techno and world music. By the end of 2024\, Fireside Collective had become a true hybrid\, with a strong foundation in bluegrass and folk\, and healthy doses of rock n’ roll and funk\, all blended together in a unique and colorful amalgam of original music. \nTickets: $25 Advance online / $30 Day of show.\nDoors open 5:30 pm Show: 6:30 pm.\nOutdoor Show\nFood available for purchase. SUMMARY:Davy Knowles And His Band
DESCRIPTION:$20/$25\nBuy now\n\n\nSince bursting on to the scene with his band Back Door Slam’s critically acclaimed album ‘Roll Away’ in 2007 (“I heard the spirit of Jimi Hendrix” Patrick McDonald – Seattle Times)\, Davy’s star has only risen. His sophomore release ‘Coming Up For Air’ was produced by the legendary Peter Frampton (“Davy already has a recognizable style. He’s definitely the gunslinger guitarist of the 21st century\,’’- Peter Frampton)\, with subsequent tours seeing him supporting and sharing the stage with acts such as Jeff Beck\, The Who\, Joe Bonamassa\, Kid Rock\, Lynyrd Skynyrd\, George Thorogood\, Brian Setzer\, the Sammy Hagar-fronted supergroup Chickenfoot\, and guitar hero Joe Satriani who called Davy “My favorite modern Bluesman”. \nKnowles has several top-5 Billboard Blues charting albums under his belt\, high profile TV appearances (Jimmy Kimmel Live and CBS Good Morning America among others)\, and has been praised with high accolades from heroes and press alike – but it’s not just the music industry who has taken note. Knowles was also the very first artist in history to perform live to the International Space Station directly from mission control in Houston TX\, and has had his music taken to the Space Station by two astronauts\, Nicole Stott and Ron Garan\, on their missions orbiting Earth. \nNever one to be satisfied or to sit still\, Knowles has explored multiple genres and styles\, from the hard-hitting 70’s classic rock influenced album ‘Three Miles From Avalon’\, to the haunting acoustic delta blues of ‘1932’\, and the sweet\, soul-searching folk of 2023’s ‘If I Should Wander’. 2024 saw a return to the 70’s inspired guitar driven work\, in the critically acclaimed album ‘The Invisible Man’\, which was quickly followed up the next year with ‘MKO’ – a new project featuring Rory Gallagher band Alumni and blues-rock royalty Gerry McAvoy and Brendan O’Neill. \nIn November of 2025 Davy was awarded the title of ‘Global Ambassador’ by his native country\, The Isle of Man\, in recognition of his success as a Manx-born musician on the global stage. \nWhether spending an evening onstage armed with just an acoustic guitar\, or wielding his well worn and trusty Telecaster while fronting his blues/rock trio – and at any point in between the two – Davy Knowles is a versatile and formidable songwriter and musician. \nTickets: $20 advance online / $25 at door. Doors open 5:30 pm. Show: 6:30 pm. Food available for purchase. Wine\, beer\, and soft drinks are available at the FIX Bar Location: 7709 Flat Iron Road\, Gloucester\, VA. SUMMARY:Tan and Soberman Gentlemen
DESCRIPTION:$20/$25\nBuy now\n\n\nBorn and raised in North Carolina\, the Tan and Sober Gentlemen began taking in the songs\, stories\, and tunes that make up their beloved state’s musical tradition before they could talk.\nThe music of the Carolinas\, (and Appalachia in general) stems from the marriage of the Irish fiddle and the African banjo\, which first met in the American South before the Revolution. The Tan and Sober Gentlemen aim to bring these traditions full circle. They play Irish tunes\, ballads\, and pub songs right next to the Appalachian fiddle tunes of their youth\, melding the two into what they call “Irish-American hillbilly music.”\nMeanwhile\, they have earned a reputation as one of the South’s hardest-hitting live acts\, playing at blazing tempos and putting every last bit of energy they possess into the show. The result is a raucous celebration of the Carolinas’ Irish heritage\, with drinking\, dancing\, and merriment galore.\nSince their formation in 2017\, the six-piece band has toured the US and Ireland\, playing festivals such as MerleFest\, Blue Ox Festival\, IBMA Bluegrass Live!\, Bristol Rhythm and Roots\, Appaloosa Festival\, FloydFest\, Rooster Walk\, Ramble Fest\, Shakori Hills\, Raleigh Wide Open\, (US)\, and Electric Picnic\, Spraoi\, and the world’s largest festival of Irish traditional music\, the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann (Ireland). In January of 2024\, in their home of Alamance County\, they sold out their show at the Haw River Ballroom\, recording a live album with a crowd of 800 people. “Live at the Haw River Ballroom” was released in February 2025. They released their sophomore record\, Regressive Folk Music\, in June 2022\, and their debut record\, Veracity\, was named by Shite’n’Onions as one of the five best Celtic punk records of 2019 and 2020.\nTickets: $20 advance online / $25 at door. Doors open 5:30 pm. Show: 6:30 pm. Food available for purchase. Wine\, beer\, and soft drinks are available at the FIX Bar Location: 7709 Flat Iron Road\, Gloucester\, VA.
